Its not very funny but you could see this working with animation today. Reminded me of the conversations I had with some good friends this past weekend who are working on an animated show with a great concept and getting ready to pitch their pilot.

Fun Fact of the Day: In the late 1960s, Jim Henson and cartoonist Johnny Hart teamed up to produce a pilot for a television series based on Hart’s and Brant Parker now-classic comic strip The Wizard of Id.

According to the Henson Company blog, the response was positive, but by the time ABC made the decision to take the project forward, Henson had already moved on to work on a little children’s program called Sesame Street
