I’m honored to be on the benefit committee again this year for the Lincoln Center Institute for the Arts in Education.
Our big fundraising event is June 13th this year and I hope anyone reading this will consider buying a ticket. LCI brings art into public schools and uses it to teach kids important skills like imagination and critical thinking, in unique and interesting ways. Its something I believe strongly in and the kind of alternative model for education that they have been championing since 1975 is starting to be seen in many other places.
It should be a fun party as well. There will be a live performance by Karen Elson and Chelsea Leyland will be spinning. Food and drinks are included in the ticket price and and the Rooftop Terrace at the Gramercy Park Hotel is a beautiful place for a Summer party.
There are two levels of tickets. $300 to attend the sit-down dinner at 7pm, and $175 if you just want to attend the party afterward at 8pm. We hope to sell out the event soon, so please purchase one today - you can click anywhere on the evite below for tickets or visit www.lincolncenter.org/lcijrgala. Thank you!
